Restaurant & Cocktail Bar Zicoria Brasserie in the heart of Promeneda offers a refined dining experience deeply rooted in both local and Mediterranean flavors, making it a favored spot for those who appreciate nuanced, ingredient-driven cuisine. This full-service restaurant is not just about a meal; it’s an occasion, where attentive service and thoughtful wine pairings complement the menu’s blend of fresh seafood, playful appetizers, and artful desserts.

The atmosphere strikes a balance between elegant and comfortable—ideal for relaxing after a day exploring nearby areas or unwinding with friends over cocktails. The setting feels polished without being stiff, with an inviting buzz that suggests a lively yet intimate scene, especially suited for evenings.

The menu shines with dishes that reflect a creative take on familiar Italian and coastal traditions. Locals and travelers alike find themselves drawn to plates like the ceviche, which is consistently praised for its brightness and freshness, or the Lobster linguine that brings a rich, satisfying depth without overwhelming the palate. Seasonal specials, like the turbot or black kale with sea urchin and scallops, often surprise and please with their bold yet balanced flavors.

For those who come with a sweet tooth, desserts such as the tiramisù and millefeuille offer an inventive twist on classics, pairing well with specialty coffees and after-dinner cocktails. Smaller bites like amuse-bouches set the tone for a meal paced as much around the dining experience as the food itself.

The crowd tends to be a mix of locals who appreciate quality and a well-curated wine list, along with visitors seeking a step above casual dining without the formality of haute cuisine. Given its location, it fits well for a lingering dinner after hiking excursions or a leisurely day in town. Service here reflects genuine hospitality—attentive without being intrusive—helping guests feel their meal is unfolding just right.

In summary, Zicoria Brasserie works best for diners who savor thoughtfully composed dishes that highlight fresh, premium ingredients, preferably enjoyed in the early evening hours when the ambiance comfortably shifts to a warm, convivial mood. It’s a place for those who want to make an evening out of their meal, indulging in both food and drink with a nod to the local culinary landscape.

We really enjoyed our dining experience at Zicoria! The food, the service and wine options were outstanding! Make sure to get the ceviche of the day, the zucchini flowers in gazpacho and bouillabaisse :)

After a day hiking in the mountains you spoil yourself with the best cuisine from local restaurant. We where lucky to arrive here and have 2,5 hour during delightful diner. The staff was very kind and worked hard to share passion for there restaurant. If you are here in neighborhood: please go and have yourself the best. Thank you dear people of the Zicoria restaurant!

Easily one of the most phenomenal meals I’ve ever eaten! The ceviche was bright, tangy, and fresh; the white asparagus soup was silky and rich without being heavy; and the eggplant parm was so comforting - perfectly balanced in flavor without losing the nostalgic factor. For dessert we had the tiramisu and millefeuille, both of which were absolutely divine and had unique riffs on traditional flavors. Every single element was executed to perfection, and on top of that service was impeccable. Our only regret was that we found this restaurant on our last night in Ortisei, and that we had a big lunch beforehand. Would absolutely recommend, and we would stay in this location the next time we visit the Dolomites just for this restaurant!

I was here in October and we ended up eating here, almost every day of our trip , because the food is that good and service is so nice! It is on the pricier side but every other restaurant in this region comes with this price tag but the quality is top notch here. Every dish we had here was made with superior quality of ingredients and the pacing and portion of the dishes was on point , when served. After a whole day of trekking , I would look forward to dinner here , because I knew the food will never disappoint.Overall, we highly recommend this place We had breakfast here too - cold cuts , cereals, croissants, breads, juice, fruits. The spread was good for the price

We were greeted warmly by the team. Love the restaurant environment. We tried the special of the day: turbot! Hint: have the specials. Will definitely be back :)

HIGHLY RECOMMEND the restaurant downstairs at the Hotel Hell—the food is truly amazing. We had the red shrimp spaghetti (the special of the day) and tiramisu, both absolutely delicious. To my surprise, it was the BEST meal I had during my 10-day trip in Italy, including Florence and Milan. This restaurant is simply incomparable—the quality of food for the price is incredible value. The spaghetti really brings out the freshness of the ingredients—the sauce and pasta blend perfectly, leaving you pleasantly satisfied at about 80% full, which feels just right. The tiramisu may not be the most traditional style, but because it’s not overly sweet or heavy, it leaves you with a wonderful sense of happiness after finishing it.

Zacoria Brasserie pleasantly surprised me with its excellent food. The risotto, infused with a unique Thai twist, was flavorful and perfectly cooked, while the ravioli was equally impressive, with a delicate balance of textures and flavors. The creativity in the dishes exceeded my expectations, making it a standout dining experience. Definitely worth a visit when in Ortisei for something unexpected and delicious. SO GOOD
